Fabliha Yeaqub (she/they) is a multi-disciplinary artist, writer, and community organizer based in New York City. Yeaqub is the founder of the Marigold Seeds Collective (formerly known as the South Asian Queer + Trans Collective), a grassroots organization for LGBTQ+ South Asians and Indo-Caribbeans. Currently, Fabliha serves as the Programs Coordinator for the Asian American Writers’ Workshop.

As an independent researcher and archivist, she is committed to uncovering the lost stories of disenfranchised communities. Fabliha’s main focus is on cultivating a safe environment for marginalized voices to creatively express themselves by cross-pollinating arts, education, and culture.

Utilizing the many facets of her identity in her writing, Fabliha believes storytelling is a powerful tool to heal souls. Her newsletter has garnered international attention, captivating thousands of readers globally.
